Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: ICLN Tuesday, March 15, 4:40 PM ET
The iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ:ICLN) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 100,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 27,000. Shares of ICLN were up about 4.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were JA Solar Holdings Limited Ads (NASDAQ:JASO), trading up about 5.6% with over 14.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Ldk Solar Limited (NYSE:LDK), up about 7.9% on volume of over 9.8 million shares. Sunpower (SPWRA) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 10.6% on the day, while MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE:WFR) is lagging other components of the iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 3.2%.
