This morning, Moody's (NYSE:MCO) declared its quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share, an increase of about 22% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.5% going forward.
Shares of Moody's were higher on Wednesday, gaining 7.7% so far.
In other dividend news, Textron (NYSE:TXT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 2 cents per share. Comerica (NYSE:CMA) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share. And Linn Energy (NASDAQ:LINE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 66 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB) announced its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, an increase of about 60% over its prior dividend in March of 12.5 cents.
