Williams Partners (NYSE:WPZ) announced its quarterly dividend of 71.75 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in February of 70.3 cents and a 9-percent increase over the partnership's first-quarter 2010 distribution of $0.6575 per unit. The quarterly cash distribution is payable on May 13, 2011, to unitholders of record at the close of business on May 6. The company plans to report its first-quarter 2011 financial results after the market closes on Wednesday, May 4.
Shares are lower by about a third of a percent in afternoon trading.
In other dividend news, Honeywell International Incorporated (NYSE:HON) maintained its quarterly dividend of 33.25 cents per share. Visa Incorporated (V) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Markwest Energy Partners L P (NYSE:MWE) announced its quarterly dividend of 67 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in February of 65 cents. Spectra Energy Partners Limited Partnership (NYSE:SEP) announced its quarterly dividend of 46 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in February of 45 cents.
