Standard & Poor’s said late yesterday that AMB Property Corp. (AMB) will replace ProLogis (NYSE:PLD) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on June 2, when AMB completes its acquisition of ProLogis. The combined company will be called ProLogis and will trade under ProLogis’ current ticker symbol.
Dresser-Rand Group (DRC) will in turn replace AMB Property in the S&P MidCap 400.
Hancock Holding Co. (HBHC) will replace PacWest Bancorp (NASDAQ:PACW) in the S&P MidCap 400, and PacWest will take Hancock’s spot in the S&P SmallCap 600, following the close of trading on June 3, after Hancock Holdings acquires Whitney Holding (WTNY).
And, Kraton Performance Polymers (KRA) will replace Whitney Holding in the S&P SmallCap 600 index.
