This morning, Newell Rubbermaid (NASDAQ:NWL) declared its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share, an increase of 60% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.7% going forward.
Shares of NWL were lower with the markets today, falling 0.5% so far.
In other dividend news, Danaher (NYSE:DHR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 2 cents per share. National Oilwell Varco (NYSE:NOV) maintained its quarterly dividend of 11 cents per share. Capital One Financial (NYSE:COF) maintained its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share. And Progress Energy (PGN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share.
