After the bell on Thursday, Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ:RCII) declared its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share, an increase of 167% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2% going forward.
Shares of Rent-A-Center were lower with the markets on Friday, falling 1% today.
In other dividend news, Dominion Resources (NYSE:D) maintained its quarterly dividend of 49.25 cents per share. Waste Management (NYSE:WM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share. CH Robinson Worldwide (NASDAQ:CHRW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share. And Avalonbay Communities (NYSE:AVB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 89.25 cents per share.
