Yesterday afternoon, Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP) declared its quarterly dividend of 47.5 cents per share, an increase of about 25% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.8% going forward.
Shares of UNP were higher on Friday, gaining 1.4% today.
In other dividend news, Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 24.5 cents per share. Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share. Alcoa Incorporated (NYSE:AA) maintained its quarterly dividend of 3 cents per share. And Broadcom (NASDAQ:BRCM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share.
