This morning, Capstead Mortgage (NYSE:CMO) declared its quarterly dividend of 48 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 14.1% going forward.
Shares of CMO were higher on the news, gaining 2.6% so far.
In other dividend news, Alexandria Real Estate Equities (NYSE:ARE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 45 cents per share. Prosperity Bancshares (PRSP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share. UTI Worldwide (NASDAQ:UTIW) maintained a dividend of 6 cents per share. And the Global High Income Fund (NYSE:GHI) maintained its monthly dividend of 9.2 cents per share.
