The Hershey Company (NYSE:HSY) named John Bilbrey as its new president and chief executive officer late yesterday, effective immediately. Bilbrey was also elected to the board. Bilbrey served as chief operating officer of the company since November 2010, and has been interim CEO since May. Prior to his COO role, Bilbrey headed up the company’s North American business.
Also late yesterday, Men’s Wearhouse announced president Douglas Ewert will assume the chief executive officer role from George Zimmer. In addition to his role as president and CEO, Ewert will also join the board.
