Standard & Poor’s Announced late yesterday that seismic data equipment maker OYO Geopsace (OYOG) will replace LaBranche & Co. (LAB) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on June 15, because the Cowen Group (NASDAQ:COWN) acquired LaBranche.
Spinal surgery devices producer NuVasive (NASDAQ:NUVA) will replace American Medical Systems Holdings (AMMD) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index on that date as well, because Endo Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ENDP) is acquiring American Medical Systems.
