This morning, Cummins (NYSE:CMI) declared its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share, an increase of about 52% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.5% going forward.
Shares of Cummins were higher on Tuesday, picking up 0.9% so far.
In other dividend news, Conagra Foods (NYSE:CAG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share. And Ameron International (AMN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Paccar (NASDAQ:PCAR) announced its quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share, an increase of 50% over its prior dividend. And Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF) announced its quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share, doubling the amount paid to shareholders last quarter.
