After the bell on Thursday, HollyFrontier (NYSE:HFC) declared its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1% going forward.
Shares of HFC were higher on the news, picking up 6.3% so far.
In other dividend news, the Altria Group (NYSE:MO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 38 cents per share. PPL Corporation (NYSE:PPL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share. Sysco (NYSE:SYY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 26 cents per share. And Pioneer Natural Resources (NYSE:PXD) maintained a dividend of 4 cents per share.
