After the bell on Wednesday, News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA) declared its semi-annual dividend of 9.5 cents per share, an increase of about 27% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.2% going forward.
Shares of News Corp were higher on Thursday, picking up 14.8% so far.
In other dividend news, Kohl's (NYSE:KSS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. AmerisourceBergen (NYSE:ABC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 11.5 cents per share. Perrigo (NASDAQ:PRGO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 7 cents per share. And Tim Horton's (NYSE:THI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17 cents per share.
