Solera Holdings Incorporated (SLH) announced its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share, an increase of about 33% over its prior dividend in May of 7.5 cents. Tony Aquila, founder, chairman and CEO of Solera Holdings, stated "This increase demonstrates our confidence in the strength and diversification of our global business which allows us to enhance total stockholder returns while maintaining our focus on our M&A and internal investment strategies."
Investors cheered the increase, sending the stock up higher by about two tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Cincinnati Financial (NASDAQ:CINF) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40.25 cents per share. Equifax Incorporated (NYSE:EFX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, First Trust Specialty Finance (NYSE:FGB) announced its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in May of 15.5 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Liberty All Star Equity Fund (NYSE:USA) announced its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share, a decrease of about 11% from its prior dividend in May of 9 cents.
