Air France-KLM has ordered as much as $12 billion in aircraft from Boeing (NYSE:BA ) and EADS’ Airbus.
The deal includes 50 orders and 60 options for long range aircraft.
Of the orders, 25 are for Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 25 are for Airbus A350s.
Keep an eye on shares of General Dynamics (GD) as well.
The military contractor received a $1.8 billion contract from the U.S. Navy for two Zumwalt-class destroyers.
One ship, the DDG 1001 is scheduled for delivery in December 2015, and the other, DDG 1002, will be delivered in February 2018.
The two together make up nearly 13% of the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Aerospace & Defense Index Fund (ITA).
Other top holdings in the fund include United Technologies (NYSE:UTX ), Precision Castparts (NYSE:PCP ), and Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT ).
