After the bell on Thursday, Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) declared its quarterly dividend of 17 cents per share, an increase of about 31% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.4% going forward.
Shares of TXN were higher on the news, picking up 0.6% today.
In other dividend news, Franklin Resources (NYSE:BEN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. Air Products & Chemicals (APD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 58 cents per share. State Street (NYSE:STT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share. And Progress Energy (PGN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share.
