MV Oil Trust (NYSE:MVO) announced its quarterly dividend of 92.5 cents per share, a decrease of about 10% from its prior dividend in July of 1 dollar and 3 cents. Unitholders of record on October 17, 2011 will receive a distribution amounting to $10,637,500 or $0.925 per unit payable October 25, 2011.
Shares are higher by about four tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Unum Group (NYSE:UNM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10.5 cents per share. KBR Incorporated (NYSE:KBR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, RPM International Incorporated (NYSE:RPM) announced its quarterly dividend of 21.5 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in July of 21 cents.
Among dividend reductions, BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust (NYSE:BPT) announced its quarterly dividend of 1 dollar and 95.6477 cents per share, a decrease of about 26% from its prior dividend in July of 2 dollars and 63.9 cents.
