Northwest Natural Gas Company (NYSE:NWN) announced its quarterly dividend of 44.5 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in July of 43.5 cents. The dividend will be paid Nov. 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on Oct. 31, 2011. Northwest Natural Gas Company will have paid $1.75 per share in dividends on its common stock in 2011, the 56th consecutive year in which the company's dividend payments have increased. The indicated annual dividend rate is now $1.78 per share.
Shares are about even today.
In other dividend news, Conocophillips (NYSE:COP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 66 cents per share. Csx Corporation (NYSE:CSX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share. Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE:MUR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Alico Incorporated (NASDAQ:ALCO) announced its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share, an increase of about 20% over its prior dividend in October of 10 cents.
