Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund (EEM), which added 9,900,000 shares, or a 1.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EEM, in morning trading today Vale (NYSE:VALE.PR) is trading flat, and Itau Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE:ITUB) is up by about 0.9%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Daily Basic Materials Bull 3x Shares (AMEX:MATL), which added 50,000 shares, for a whopping 50.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of MATL, in morning trading today Materials Select Sector Spdr (AMEX:XLB) is up about 0.6%.
