The Vanguard Total International Stock ETF (NASDAQ:VXUS) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 771,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 132,000. Shares of VXUS were up about 3.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Alcatel-lucent (NYSE:ALU), trading up about 7.1% with over 17.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nokia (NYSE:NOK), up about 5.5% on volume of over 7.8 million shares. Unicredito Italiano S P A (UNCFF) is the component faring the best Monday, higher by about 22.3% on the day, while National Bank Greece S A (NYSE:NBG) is lagging other components of the Vanguard Total International Stock ETF, trading lower by about 6.7%.
