The iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ:ICLN) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 98,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 32,000. Shares of ICLN were down about 1.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were JA Solar Holdings Limited Ads (NASDAQ:JASO), trading off about 5.3% with over 4.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Suntech Power Holdings Limited (NYSE:STP), off about 5.3% on volume of over 2.2 million shares. Empresa Nacional DE Elctrcid (NYSE:EOC) is the component faring the best Tuesday, lower by about 1.3% on the day, while Sunpower (SPWRA) is lagging other components of the iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 5.7%.
