Mesa Laboratories Incorporated (NASDAQ:MLAB) announced its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share, an increase of about 8% over its prior dividend in August of 12 cents. The dividend will be payable December 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2011. The increase in the regular quarterly dividend rate from $.12 to $.13 per common share represents a 160 percent increase since initiation of the quarterly dividend policy in December 2003.
Shares are lower by about 2.7 percent.
In other dividend news, HJ Heinz Company (NYSE:HNZ) maintained its quarterly dividend of 48 cents per share. General Growth Properties Incorporated (NYSE:GGP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Automatic Data Processing Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADP) announced its quarterly dividend of 39.5 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in September of 36 cents.
Among dividend reductions, H & Q Healthcare Fund (NYSE:HQH) announced its quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share, a decrease of about 15% from its prior dividend in August of 34 cents.
