In trading on Thursday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Tanzanian Royalty Exploration (AMEX:TRX), off about 35.1% and shares of Silver Standard Resources (NASDAQ:SSRI) off about 21.6% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are food shares, down on the day by about 0.6% as a group, led down by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ:GMCR), trading lower by about 36.2% and Coffee Holding (NASDAQ:JVA), trading lower by about 10.1%.
