CVS Caremark Corporation (NYSE:CVS) announced its quarterly dividend of 16.25 cents per share, an increase of about 30% over its prior dividend in October of 12.5 cents. The dividend is payable February 2 to holders of record as of January 23.
Shares are higher by over eight percent.
In other dividend news, Firstenergy Corporation (NYSE:FE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 55 cents per share. Ralph Lauren Corporation (NYSE:RL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Washington Federal Incorporated (WFSL) announced its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share, an increase of about 33% over its prior dividend in October of 6 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Annaly Capital Management Incorporated (NYSE:NLY) announced its quarterly dividend of 57 cents per share, a decrease of about 5% from its prior dividend in September of 60 cents.
