In trading on Tuesday, the Steel ETF (AMEX:SLX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Gerdau S A (NYSE:GGB), up about 5.6% and shares of Ternium SA (NYSE:TX), up about 5.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the CEF Municipal Income ETF (AMEX:XMPT), off about 0.4% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Blackrock Municipal Income Quality Trust (NYSE:BYM), lower by about 0.9%, and shares of Nuveen Premium Income Municipal Fund (NYSE:NPM), lower by about 0.9% on the day.
