Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLF), which added 28,950,000 shares, or a 6.5% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company New (NYSE:WFC) is down about 0.5%, and Berkshire Hathaway Class B (NYSE:BRK.B) is lower by about 0.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Bank and Brokerage ETF (AMEX:RKH), which added 100,000 shares, for a whopping 52.5% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of RKH, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company New (NYSE:WFC) is down about 0.5%, and Hsbc Holdings Plc (NYSE:HBC) is lower by about 1.3%.
