Allstate Corporation (NYSE:ALL) announced its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in November of 21 cents. The dividend is payable on April 2, 2012 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 5, 2012. This dividend is a 4.8 percent increase from the dividend declared in the previous quarter.
Shares are lower by about three tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, BB&T Corporation (NYSE:BBT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share. Intuit Incorporated (NASDAQ:INTU) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE:PEG) announced its quarterly dividend of 35.5 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in December of 34.3 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Cheviot Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:CHEV) announced its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share, a decrease of about 33% from its prior dividend in December of 12 cents.
