Harris Corporation (HRS) announced its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share, an increase of about 18% over its prior dividend in November of 28 cents. The dividend will be payable on March 16, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 7, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 5, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 3.1 percent.
In other dividend news, Aetna Incorporated (AET) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share. Humana Incorporated (NYSE:HUM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. American Water Works Company Incorporated (NYSE:AWK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share. Xylem Incorporated (NYSE:XYL) maintained a dividend of 10.12 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Saint Jude Medical (STJ) announced its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in December of 21 cents.
