After the bell on Wednesday, Kinross Gold (NYSE:KGC) declared its semi-annual dividend of 8 cents per share, an increase of 33% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.5% going forward.
Shares of KGC were higher on Thursday, picking up 5.4% so far.
In other dividend news, PG&E (NYSE:PCG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 45.5 cents per share. VF Corporation (NYSE:VFC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 72 cents per share. Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share. And Tiffany & Company (NYSE:TIF) maintained its quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share.
