Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (AMEX:XHB), which shed 2,550,000 shares, or a 4.3% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XHB, in morning trading today Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE:WHR) is up about 0.8%, and Pultegroup Incorporated (NYSE:PHM) is lower by about 1.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Daily Natural Gas Related Bull 3x Shares (AMEX:GASL), which lost 150,000 of its shares, for a whopping 33.3% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of GASL, in morning trading today Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC) is down about 0.2%, and Apache Corporation (NYSE:APA) is lower by about 0.4%.
