Air Products & Chemicals Incorporated (NYSE:APD) announced its quarterly dividend of 64 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in December of 58 cents. The dividend is payable on May 14, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 2, 2012. This marks the 30th consecutive year that Air Products has increased its dividend payment.
Shares are higher by about four tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Petsmart Incorporated (NASDAQ:PETM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share. Baytex Energy Corporation (NYSE:BTE) maintained its monthly dividend of 22 cents per share. Weight Watchers International Incorporated (NYSE:WTW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Independent Bank Corporation (NASDAQ:INDB) announced its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend in December of 19 cents.
