Movado Group Incorporated (NYSE:MOV) announced its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share, an increase of about 67% over its prior dividend in December of 3 cents. The company also announced that full-year earnings were $32 million, or $1.27 per share, versus a loss of $47.2 million, or $1.91 per share in the same period last year.
Shares are surging on the news, up by nearly ten percent, in early afternoon trading.
In other dividend news, McCormick & Company Incorporated (NYSE:MKC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 31 cents per share. Clarcor Incorporated (NYSE:CLC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share. Worthington Industries Incorporated (NYSE:WOR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Homeowners Choice Incorporated (HCII) announced its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, an increase of about 33% over its prior dividend in February of 15 cents.
