The SPDR S&P Capital Markets ETF (AMEX:KCE) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 37,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 27,000. Shares of KCE were down about 1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), trading off about 2.1% with over 7.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and The Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW), down about 0.1% on volume of over 4.1 million shares. Blackrock Kelso Capital (NASDAQ:BKCC) is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 1% on the day, while Greenhill & (NYSE:GHL) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Capital Markets ETF, trading lower by about 3.8%.
