The BLDRS Emerging Markets 50 ADR Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ:ADRE) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 137,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 48,000. Shares of ADRE were up about 1.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Itau Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE:ITUB), trading up about 2.8% with over 8.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Vale SA (NYSE:VALE), up about 1.1% on volume of over 6.9 million shares. Shinhan Financial Group L (NYSE:SHG) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 3.4% on the day, while Mobile Telesystems (NYSE:MBT) is lagging other components of the BLDRS Emerging Markets 50 ADR Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 1.1%.
