The SPDR S&P Capital Markets ETF (AMEX:KCE) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 86,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 31,000. Shares of KCE were down about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), trading up about 1.4% with over 16.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and The Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW), down about 0.4% on volume of over 5.7 million shares. Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 2.2% on the day, while Financial Engines (NASDAQ:FNGN) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Capital Markets ETF, trading lower by about 2%.
