TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (NYSE:AMTD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. The company announced a 20% drop in second quarter profit due to a decline in fees and average trading volume that hurt revenue growth.
Shares are lower by about a tenth of a percent.
In other dividend news, Eli Lilly & Company (NYSE:LLY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share. T Rowe Price Group Incorporated (NASDAQ:TROW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share. Unum Group (NYSE:UNM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Southern Company (NYSE:SO) announced its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share, an increase of about 4% over its prior dividend in February of 47.3 cents.
