In trading on Tuesday, the Solar Energy ETF (AMEX:KWT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR), up about 9.4% and shares of MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE:WFR), up about 8.1% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the CEF Municipal Income ETF (AMEX:XMPT), off about 0.5% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Blackrock Municipal Income Trust II (AMEX:BLE), lower by about 1.1%, and shares of Neuberger Berman Int Municipal Fund (AMEX:NBH), lower by about 1.1% on the day.
