The SPDR Wells Fargo Preferred Stock ETF (AMEX:PSK) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 64,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 45,000. Shares of PSK were off about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were HSBC Holdings (NYSE:HBC), trading down about 2% with over 1.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Prudential Plc (NYSE:PUK), down about 1.4% on volume of over 205,000 shares. Berkley W R Capital Trust II (WRB.PRA) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 0.5% on the day.
