Marsh & Mclennan Companies Incorporated (NYSE:MMC) announced its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in April of 22 cents. The dividend is payable on August 15 to shareholders of record on July 11.
Shares are lower by about seven tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Altria Group Incorporated (NYSE:MO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 41 cents per share. Potash Corporation (NYSE:POT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share. Yum Brands Incorporated (NYSE:YUM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 28.5 cents per share. Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB) announced its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share, an increase of about 16% over its prior dividend in March of 25.9 cents.
