In trading on Thursday, apparel stores shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 1.4%. Leading the group were shares of Talbots (TLB), up about 92.2% and shares of Stage Stores (NYSE:SSI) up about 3.8% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are cigarettes & tobacco shares, up on the day by about 0.4% as a group, led by British American Tobacco Plc Adr (AMEX:BTI), trading up by about 1% and Star Scientific (CIGX), trading up by about 0.5% on Thursday.
