United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX) announced its quarterly dividend of 53.5 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend in May of 48 cents. The dividend will be payable on September 10 to shareowners of record at the close of business August 17.
Shares are higher by about 1.3 percent.
In other dividend news, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share. TJX Companies Incorporated (NYSE:TJX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 11.5 cents per share. Mead Johnson Nutrition Company (NYSE:MJN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, CR Bard Incorporated (NYSE:BCR) announced its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in April of 19 cents.
