Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSE:XLI), which shed 12,200,000 shares, or a 12.9% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLI, in morning trading today General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) is up about 0.8%, and United Parcel Service Incorporated (NYSE:UPS) is lower by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the First Trust Value Line Equity Allocation Index Fund (FVI), which lost 150,000 of its shares, for a whopping 42.9% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of FVI, in morning trading today Ross Stores Incorporated (NASDAQ:ROST) is up about 0.4%, and Tjx Companies Incorporated New (NYSE:TJX) is higher by about 0.3%.
