Cummins Incorporated (NYSE:CMI) announced its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share, an increase of about 25% over its prior dividend in May of 40 cents. The dividend is payable on Sept. 1, 2012 to shareholders of record on August 22, 2012.
Shares are lower by about 10.5 percent.
In other dividend news, Spectra Energy Corporation (NYSE:SE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share. International Paper Company (NYSE:IP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 26.25 cents per share. Pembina Pipeline Corporation (NYSE:PBA) maintained its monthly dividend of 13.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, A O Smith Corporation (NYSE:AOS) announced its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, an increase of about 25% over its prior dividend in April of 16 cents.
