Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC) announced its quarterly dividend of 52.5 cents per share, an increase of about 39% over its prior dividend in May of 37.9 cents. The dividend is payable on Sept. 10, 2012, to shareholders of record of Exelon at 5:00 p.m. New York Time on Aug. 15, 2012.
Shares are higher by about 1.3 percent.
In other dividend news, Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 57 cents per share. Chevron Corporation New (NYSE:CVX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 90 cents per share. Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16.25 cents per share. Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 60 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) announced its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share, an increase of about 7% over its prior dividend in May of 21 cents.
