JM Smucker Company (NYSE:SJM) announced its quarterly dividend of 52 cents per share, an increase of about 8% over its prior dividend in May of 48 cents. The dividend will be paid on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Friday, August 10, 2012.
Shares of the jelly maker are higher by one percent.
In other dividend news, Schlumberger Limited (NYSE:SLB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share. Citigroup Incorporated (NYSE:C) maintained its quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share. Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share. Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Kinder Morgan Incorporated (NYSE:KMI) announced its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend in April of 32 cents.
