In M&A news, Shaw Group (SHAW) is set to be acquired by Chicago Bridge and Iron (CBI) for nearly $3 billion.
Shares of Roper Industries (NASDAQ:ROP) are trading higher today after the medical and industrial equipment maker announced the acquisition of Sunquest Information Systems in a deal worth about $1.4 billion.
