IEI, IRY: Big ETF OutflowsFriday, July 6, 1:25 PM ET
Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the
universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the
iShares Barclays 3-7 Year Treasury Bond Fund (AMEX:IEI ), which shed 6,000,000
shares, or a 23.2% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the
SPDR S&P International Health Care Sector ETF (AMEX:IRY ), which lost 150,000 of
its shares, for a whopping 30.0% decline in outstanding shares. Among the
largest underlying components of IRY, in morning trading today Valeant
Pharma International (TSE:VRX.CA ) is down about 0.9%, and Sxc Health Solutions
(SXC.CA ) is lower by about 1.7%.
