In trading on Thursday, grocery & drug stores shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.8%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Supervalu (NYSE:SVU), off about 44.6% and shares of Safeway (NYSE:SWY) off about 10.2% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are agriculture & farm products shares, down on the day by about 3.1% as a group, led down by CVR Partners Limited (NYSE:UAN), trading lower by about 6.3% and Cresud (NASDAQ:CRESY), trading lower by about 3%.
