The FTSE RAFI US 1000 Portfolio ETF (AMEX:PRF) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 439,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 68,000. Shares of PRF were up about 0.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S), trading down about 2% with over 46.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Ford Motor (NYSE:F), up about 1.8% on volume of over 15.9 million shares. Vishay Intertechnology (NYSE:VSH) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 11.4% on the day, while Coach (NYSE:COH) is lagging other components of the FTSE RAFI US 1000 Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 16.3%.
