Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLK), which shed 3,400,000 shares, or a 1.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLK, in morning trading today Apple Incorporated (NASDAQ:AAPL) is up about 2%, and International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM) is up by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the SPDR S&P Capital Markets ETF (AMEX:KCE), which lost 850,000 of its shares, for a whopping 53.1% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of KCE, in morning trading today Sei Investments Company (NASDAQ:SEIC) is off about 0.5%, and Greenhill & Company Incorporated (NYSE:GHL) is up by about 1.4%.
